The Walnut Boys scored their first goal in nine games but it wasn't enough to prevent a double at the hands of the Mark Paul inspired Cuckoos.

Paul gave Yaxley a 26th minute lead but Kempston levelled seven minutes later through Ross Course who cut in from the left to curlthe ball home.

Yaxley regained the lead a minute before the break through Ricky Hailstone's spot kick, awarded for a foul on Lee Blewett by Rob Lindsay who was sent off.

Paul took centre stage in the second period scoring three more goals. His second after 57 minutes strengthened Yaxley's grip on the contest and he completed his tally with further goals after 87 and 90 minutes.
