Division One

Buckingham Town  0    Daventry United  1

Saturday, 03 November 2007

Last season Ford Sports won both Premier Division meetings of the clubs and the renamed Daventry United kept the sequence going with this Ford Meadow success.

Reuben Max-Grant had a goal disallowed for the Robins while a foul on Ollie Stanbridge gave United a chance to take the lead only for debutant goalkeeper Jack Sillitoe to save Tommy Waldock's spot kick.

A stalemate beckoned until five minutes from the end when a slide rule Leigh Roberts pass set up  Waldock's eighth goal of the campaign which gave the visitors all three points.

Buckingham: Jack Sillitoe, Massimo Lagioia, Tony Joyce, Dan Hart, Jon Mills, Paul Dart, Nick Bines, Giuseppe Lagioia (Adam Harwood), Reuben Max-Grant, Joel McCormick, Chris Robson (James Bishop).

Daventry: Shaun Allen, Ben Collins, Leigh Roberts, Ady Pestell, Duncan Harris, Ollie Stanbridge, Michael Parkes (Jamie Jollands), Lee Reynolds, Tommy Waldock, Tony Burt, Joel Young (Wayne Richardson).
