The outcome at Weston Park was hardly a surprise as it was the sixth time in eight seasons that the spoils had been sharedin the fixture, while Wootton have now drawn all four league outings to date this season.
Nick Hardy gave the Wakes the lead on the hour from a 25 yard free kick with Krysztof Karpiuk hauling Blue Cross on terms a quarter of an hour from time with a lob from Craig Daniel's free kick.
Bourne could have won the contest but Tim Quy's effort was cleared off the home goalline.
