Three goals in eight second half minutes gave the Doughboys a win on their first visit to Eslaforde Park. They had the better of the first half with the woodwork denying Steve Blackwood an opener.

Recent recruit Kevin Byrne made it two goals in two games by converting the deadlock breaking penalty after 70 minutes after being brought down by Ollie Sidney, and two minutes later a rare Matt Green strike from Alfie Taylor's cross left the Doughboys well in control.

Jon Mitchell sealed victory with Wellingborough's third goal twelve minutes from the end after substitute Adam Hancock set upthe chance.
