A penalty ten minutes from time saw the Millers past Combined Counties high fliers North Greenford at Kingsthorpe Mill.

Karl Bates hit the bar for Spencer after just six minutes and when Bates had a shot handled on the goalline after 31 minutes Scott Marshall stepped up to take the penalty only for the keeper to save.

Matt Collins gave Spencer a 38th minute advantage from 12 yards after Bates and Marshall combined but they were pegged back six minutes into the second half, skipper Luke Kenney the visiting marksman.

Ten minutes from time the Millers were awarded a second penalty after Chris Davies was brought down and Phil Cassidy kept his cool to convert from the spot.
