Raunds Town  2    Bourne Town  4

Saturday, 20 October 2007

Raunds' woes continued as the Wakes claimed their first win in ten games.

Liam Palmer's sixth minute opener for Bourne from Jason Gough's pass was cancelled out sixty seconds later by a reply from Raunds top scorer Danny Frid, but Bourne regained control with an 18th minute John Currall strike from 30 yards..

When Robbie Pearce added a third for the Wakes after 38 minutes with a lobbed effort the Shopmates looked destined for another reverse and Spearink's second goal after 70 minutes, a header from a Pearce corner, sealed a vital victory for Bourne.

Frid scored a second for the Shopmates after 76 minutes.
