The Doughboys completed a double over the struggling Walnut Boys, matching their three goal winning margin on the season's opening day at Hillgrounds.

Jon Mitchell fired Wellingborough in front after five minutes and he added a second ten minutes before the break to leave the Doughboys well in control.

Luke Pritchard completed the scoring with five minutes remaining.
