Tuesday, 16 October 2007

Buckby bounced back from conceding the evening's first goal to Jon Mitchell five minutes in to take all three points at Station Road. Mitchell's pace took him clear of the home defence to score with a right footed shot.

Danny Duggan levelled on the quarter hour with a left footed shot from the right of the box.

Wellingborough had Steve Blackwood red carded for dissent and then lost goalkeeper John Hughes to a thigh injury.

Buckby pressed their visitors back for long spells and Richard Bunting gave the home side all three points with the winning goal six minutes from the end, his low shot beating stand in keeper Jed Ainge with the aid of a slight deflection.
