History
Evidence exits to support the existence of a football club in Olney as early as 1903. The signed balance sheet from that year shows funds raised by the club including £1 from a smoking competition!
Olney Town joined the North Bucks League in 1911 and the next half century or so saw the club switch between that competition and the Rushden & District on numerous occasions. NBL 2nd division championships were won on 1933 and 1964 with the 1st Division title won in 1962. The latter championship followed a successful spell in the Rushden League. In 1958 the Nurserymen won the title with 47 points from 24 matches and three years later they repeated their success. Olney reached a number of finals in the Rushden League, losing them all, but in the Stantonbury Cup they were successful on several occasions.

In 1966 Olney stepped up to the UCL but found the going tough for a few years. After winning the Stantonbury Cup in 1972 they went on to carry off the Division One championship a year later, pipping Higham and Bedford Eaglets in a closely contested title race. Former West Bromwich Albion and Northampton full back Ray Fairfax was at the helm for that memorable season but shortly afterwards he rejoined the Baggies as commercial manager.

In 1975 the Nurserymen were runners up to Stewarts & Lloyds and were promoted to the Premier Division, where they stayed for five years until their inability to construct a stand saw them demoted. This period saw the club participate in the FA Cup, FA Vase and Berks & Bucks Senior Cup.
Back in Division One Olney have spent most of their time in mid table. They were runners up in the Stantonbury Cup in successive years from 1990 to 1992 and in 1993 they won the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup for the first time. Their best league campaign of recent times saw fourth place claimed in 1994.
Floodlights were installed at the East Street ground in 2006.
